Instructors:
We offer a high adult to child ratio with our skilled, experienced and passionate mentors. All our mentors have Wilderness Mentoring and First Aid and training, and background checks. Short bios below–you can read in-depth bios for our instructors on our About Us page.

Ayden Catry-Bauer (all youth and teen camps) has been immersed in nature-based mentoring and wilderness skills since before he could walk. He is appreciated for bringing both a grounded, caring presence, and a very energetic, youthful playfulness to his work. Ayden was a full-time mentor at WOLF kids for 2 years, and has instructed our youth, teen and adult programs for over 5 years. He spent the last year deepening his wilderness mentoring training at the Anake Outdoor School in Washington. Ayden is passionate about wilderness survival and scout skills, fire making, tracking, reveling in humour and mischief, making music, and discovering challenges and adventure.

Bailey Dalton (all youth and teen camps) took her first survival course with Wisdom of the Earth eight years ago, which sparked her passion for and further training in earth-based mentoring. Bailey has a natural gift for compassion, fun, and people connection and is a popular guest mentor at WOLF and our youth camps. She returns to us with deepened skills and enthusiasm, after a year studying at the Anake Outdoor School in Washington. Among other skills and passions, Bailey is a certified kayak guide, a talented cook, an experienced handy-person and house builder, and loves to make things with her hands, watch birds, explore nature, go on adventures, and play guitar and sing.

Frank Doss (Ninja Camp) has trained in many forms of Japanese martial and healing arts and has studied Ninjutsu for over 20 years. His focus in the past few years has been the use of martial arts principles as an effective way to bring about health to the body/mind/spirit by moving in harmony with the environment and rhythms of nature. Frank has led our Ninja Camp for many years and loves it!
