This summer marks 20 years of WOLF Kids – and we’re celebrating!
July 11-13, 2025, Salt Spring Island
Calling all WOLF Kids Alumni, Mentors, Apprentices and families!
Come reconnect with old friends & mentors,
relive the magic, and howl once again with the WOLF pack!
Here’s just a taste of what’s in store:
🐾 Story Sharing & Old Photos – “Remember when we ate that onion we found in the ocean?”
🎲 Games Galore – Human skittles, Wolf & Raven, the Leopard Game, hiding games, and of course… night-time Scout-style fun!
🎶 Music, Dancing, Singing – Share old songs and learn new ones!
🛠️ Workshops & Skill Shares – Bring your creativity and passions!
🌟 Honouring & Gratitude – A special time to thank those who’ve made WOLF Kids possible.
🔥 Giant Community Bowdrill Kit – Let’s make some fire together!
🍽️ Delicious Food – Shared meals, shared stories, shared joy.
🤝 Connection & Community – Reunite with old “classmates,” network, and build new memories.

🌿 WOLF Kids 20-Year Reunion – Event Overview 🌿
WHO’S INVITED: This reunion is for ALL PAST and PRESENT WOLF Kids and their immediate families (parents, partners, offspring, siblings), all past and current mentors, apprentices, landowners, and select community members who have supported WOLF Kids on Salt Spring Island from 2005 to 2025.
DATES: Friday, July 11 (pre-event for alumni 18+, their families & all mentors)
Saturday–Sunday, July 12 & 13, 2025 (MAIN EVENT for all WOLF alumni, families, mentors, apprentices, landowners, etc)
LOCATION: Falcon Farm, south-end Salt Spring Island – the current home of WOLF Kids, with stunning views of Reginald Hill and Mt. Baker.
This central location brings us close to the three previous “central fire” sites of the program.
CAMPING & UNITY: We ask all participants to camp on-site, if possible, to help cultivate a strong feeling of unity and togetherness. Exceptions are, of course, made for elders and families with young children.
5SCHEDULE
FRIDAY, July 11 – Alumni 18+ & Mentors Pre-event Gathering
For original students, WOLF alumni who are 18+ (only), their families, and all mentors – a time to reconnect (or meet!) and reminisce.

10:00 AM – Arrival, welcoming, reconnection, and camp setup

Potluck Lunch – Bring something to share!

Afternoon Activities – May include paddling, old site visits, story sharing, and more

Dinner – Delicious ingredients provided for a co-created meal

Evening Celebration – Music, stories, laughter!
WOLF alumni under 18 and their families are encouraged to gather informally elsewhere or enjoy a beach day!
SATURDAY July 12 – Main Event Begins!
For all WOLF alumni, their families, mentors, apprentices, landowners and select community members/Elders

11:00 AM – Arrival, welcoming, Opening circle, and camp setup

Ending by 4pm
COST (choose basic, sustainable, or regenerative price tier):
Basic price includes catered meals, camping, and facilities.
Sustainable price includes above, plus supports infrastructure, gear, and supplies.
Regenerative price supports attendance for honoured guests & elders, admin costs, families who need assistance.
18+ FRIDAY PRE-EVENT to SUNDAY for Alumni 18+ only & families, plus Mentors:
Basic: $90
Sustainable: $120
Regenerative: $150
SATURDAY- SUNDAY MAIN EVENT for all Alumni & current students, families, & Apprentices:
Basic: $80
Sustainable: $110
Regenerative: $140
We encourage people to join for the whole event!
Friday only and Saturday only options are available when you register, for those who can’t make the whole event.
Half price for children ages 4-7, children 3 and under are free.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to the fire.
